Broadcast Media

"It's important to recognize music
and the recording of music, as an art."

Broadcast, Television! As “Orleans” sang almost 40 years ago “You’re Still the One”. That’s right even in this age of anyone can be a star on the internet, TV is still the dominant medium in our industry. That, most likely, is not going to change for a long time. Green screen, lighting, camera operation, quick edit, scripting, and all the rest…… It's all here in our Broadcasting class. On camera, off camera, directing, floor managing, technical directing, again it’s all here at LSRA. So if you think you’ve got what it takes to be on air, this class is for you. Although TV is the main focus, we broadcast for internet as well.

So as we honor the past (television), we look to the future (youtube and all the other sites available online).
